Lions and tigers and... panthers? no way!!

Yes we will be hiking panther creek this weekend. As advertised there are NO panthers on panther creek and no lions or bears. So it should be safe for everyone. We will meet at the church at 10am on Saturday morning and then carpool up to the trail. Pack a lunch we will eat when we get out to the falls. The hike is an out and back total distance is about 6 miles and its pretty flat. Should be a great day for it! Hope to see you all on Saturday morning...

christmas in september

Merry Christmas,

I know its early for that but its time to get started on our annual Christmas Coat Drive. We are planning on meeting tomorrow night (thats wednesday september 24th) in our luxurious classroom to wrap some boxes which will be placed around the church as receptacles for the coats. Bring Big Boxes, wrapping paper, scissors and tape, oh and your Christmas spirit. We'll order some pizza and make a regular party out of it. That's this Wednesday night at 6pm...see you then.

PS great job to bryan and wilson on the fiesta football tailgate last Saturday. The Fajitas were awesome. Thanks guys!!

Tailgate Fiesta and Football

hey everyone...

don't forget that we have a tailgate party this saturday night at Brian Morris's Apartment. Apparently there is a Georgia game that night at 8pm. They are playing some team from Arizona. Fiesta style food (cooked up by Wilson) will be available around 630. Brian lives in the apartment complex directly behind Chili's in Gainesville. His apartment number is 924 and rumor has it that you can access the gate with the code 1980.

this week there will be no class...

in the fellowship hall...this is to kick off the 40 days
of community extravaganza...its still not to late to get into a
