taking a look at Genesis...the first book of the bible.. So if you were

Men: Spaghetti and Monday Night Football

hey guys (men only):

A group of guys is getting together at Wilson and Randy's "crib"
Monday night at 7pm for dinner (spaghetti), discussion and MNF.

Pumpkin Fest reminder

hey just a reminder...pumpkin fest tonight...
20 somethings are working in the inflatables
area..should be easy to find. 530pm-800pm.

Its that time of year!! Lakewood is hosting pumpkin fest next wednesday... thats right Halloween night. For those of you who dont know...its a giant carnival with all sorts of games and activities for kids of all ages...

We (the twenty-somethings) have been asked to assist with the inflatables: gigantic slides, bungee runs, moonwalks etc.. they need good adult supervision...

the pumpkin fest is from 5-8pm. You can sign up for a one hour shift or more.

there will be a dinner for volunteers Sunday at 5:30 in the Fellowship Hall. We will gather for fellowship, instructions and prayerwalking the campus.

The new fancy Lakewood Volunteer T Shirts will be on sale for 6.00 each!

as usual "game day" decisions are acceptable so if you are unsure till the last minute and decide to show up your services will be accepted!!!
