Sept 26th 7pm Sonny Landreth concert and low country boil at the Brenau Amphitheater

Sept 27th 7pm Nick Vujicic will be speaking at the Brenau Amphitheater. Born in Australia with no arms and no legs Nick has overcome many obstacles and is now a motivational speaker. No charge for this event.

upcoming twenty-somethings events for September and October:

September 20th - Football party prior to and during the UGA vs ASU game. At Brian Morris's apartment.

October 4th - Hiking Panther Creek trail. 7 Mile round trip (mostly level) to Panther Creek Falls. Fall colors should be looking good!!

Corn Maze extravaganza - late October (date TBD)

October 29th - Pumpkin Fest - Lakewood's Fall Festival. We (20's) are going to have our own booth this year...something to do with face painting and FAIR HAIR..

Girls Night This Thursday 6:30pm

To the Twentysomething Girls,

We are going to have dinner and fellowship this Thursday evening at 6:30pm at Patti and Jim's house at 1161 Saint Charles Place (off of Park Street between Brenau and Sherwood Plaza).

We are going to have a baked potato/salad bar.

I will have potatoes, sour cream, cheese, butter and lettuce, dressings and beverages.

Sunday School Location in the a.m.

Tomorrow for sunday school the 20 somethings will be meeting in the Lodge in the High School Room to listen to Chris Orr lead worship at 9:30. I hope you all are able to make it! We will continue with Collosians Ch 2 next Sunday!

Books for sale!!

The guys in Randy's House (Mike, Jason, Randy) are having a book sale this Saturday at their house. Over 700 books on sale. Sale starts at 9am and runs into the afternoon. Bosnia, NASA and you

Its time to gear up for the annual mission trip to the Balkans. This year its back to Sarajevo, Bosnia. Its a 1 week trip from 7-16 November. This year we will be supporting a Seminar on "Success" by Dr Harold Finch, former NASA APOLLO mission engineer. As usual we will be focusing on relationship building with university students and advertising for the seminars.

Its a great opportunity to stretch your faith and share your life with people of a different culture.

Trip info meeting is scheduled for right after church on August 10th. Commitments needed by 31 August.
